Graduates from UW-Milwaukee will be celebrated with a virtual commencement ceremony on August 16, the university announced Monday.

The university said that more than 3,400 degrees were going to be awarded during the virtual ceremony.

The ceremony will go live on YouTube at 10 a.m.

UWM said it will be awarding over 2,500 bachelor's degrees, 621 master's degrees, 94 doctoral degrees, 65 flexible option degrees and 177 associate degrees.

The Spring 2020 Commencement ceremony had originally been rescheduled for October, however, due to the ongoing pandemic, it was moved online.
