Town Hall: Coronavirus' impact on communities of color

MILWAUKEE — Coronavirus' impact on communities of color can't be ignored. COVID-19 has been impacting minority groups in a more severe way.

TMJ4 News has reported on this issue multiple times already. However, we wanted to conduct a more transparent and open conversation with community leaders and health professionals which is why we held a Coronavirus Townhall.

Included in this discussion were Dr. Maria Perez with Ascension Medical Group, Nancy Hernandez, the president of the Hispanic Collaborative, Dr. Heather Paradis, with Children's Milwaukee, Dr. Tito Izard from Milwaukee Health Services, Ossie Kendrix, the CEO of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin, and Tammy Rivera, the Executive Director of the Southside Organizing Center.
