WAUKESHA — Sobelman's Pub & Grill announced on social media that it was temporarily closing after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

"Despite being told by the Waukesha County Health Department that we can remain open, we have decided to close Sobelman’s Waukesha temporarily due to a staff member testing positive for COVID-19," said the restaurant owners in a post on Facebook.

Staff at the restaurant have been wearing face masks as a precaution prior to the closure.

"We will not reopen until everyone is cleared—the health of our staff, customers and community is paramount," the restaurant said.
