One Wisconsinite collects unique sports memorabilia

With sports fans having downtime at home, and the NFL Draft quickly approaching, some sports memorabilia items are getting hot.

"Let's open this up, this is Leaf metal draft that just came out," Dave "Wally" Wallenhaupt says.

Meet Dave "Wally" Wallenhaupt. Owner of Johnson Creek Card Shop and Collectibles. He does what are called "breakers," opening up card packs online.

"Oh, glad I opened this one up. Tua! Yeah buddy," Dave "Wally" Wallenhaupt says. "There are some collectors who like to collect cards, and some who treat it like gambling. You spend 20 bucks and you hope to get a Tua."

Even in this climate? You get the right card, and you're definitely in business.

"Last year, Luka was a big draw. This year it's Zion Williamson or Ja Morant. Zion actually has cards that sell for 20, 30, 40 thousand dollars. And they actually sell for that, people don't understand that. The market is very strong," Dave "Wally" Wallenhaupt says.
