MILWAUKEE — Most of the warnings the City of Milwaukee has issued toward businesses have included mask order violations, a report by the Milwaukee Business Journal says.

The City of Milwaukee issued its own mask mandate in July and since then, the city reported that 59 businesses have been warned about violations.

The Milwaukee Business Journal, a TMJ4 news partner, obtained a report that shows nearly all of the warnings issued by the city were, in part, violating the local mask ordinance.

According to the report obtained by the BizJournal, 52 businesses were warned about the face-covering requirement, 11 about physical distancing, five about capacity restrictions and two about other unspecified violations.
