Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identifies 49 COVID-19 deaths

MILWAUKEE COUNTY — The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office has identified 49 people who have died from complications of COVID-19, the novel coronavirus (as of Tuesday morning).

The following people died from COVID-19 while in Milwaukee County:

1) 66-year-old Lawrence Riley of Milwaukee (died 3/19)
2) 54-year-old Roderick Crape of Milwaukee (died 3/20)
3) 69-year-old Lenard Wells of Olive Branch (died 3/21)
4) 60-year-old Ralph Davis of Milwaukee (died 3/25)
5) 57-year-old Sheila Staten of West Allis (died 3/25)
6) 79-year-old Callie M. Roundtree of Milwaukee (died 3/26)
7) 65-year-old Carolyn V. Johnson of of Milwaukee (died 3/26)
8) 55-year-old Nola Boyd of Milwaukee (died 3/26)

49) 76-year-old Theordis Terry of Milwaukee (died 4/6)

35 of the 49 victims are black, 12 are white, and two are Hispanic when separated by race. 20 of the 49 victims are women and 29 are men. 42 of the 49 victims are 60 or older, and 7 of the 49 victims are below the age of 60.

94 people have died across the state of Wisconsin with more than 2,600 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
