“Given the amount of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we recognize that canceling the 2020 Milwaukee Air & Water Show is the responsible and necessary thing to do,” said WaterStone Bank President/CEO Doug Gordon. “We can keep our communities safe and healthy by supporting local public health efforts. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Milwaukee Air & Water Show in 2021.”
The Air and Water show has grown to be Wisconsin's largest free event, organizers say, providing a large economic impact to the community.
The show honors men and women who have served this country and continue to serve this country. This tribute will have to wait until summer of 2021.
“This was a hard decision that impacts so many involved with the Milwaukee Air & Water Show, but it is the right decision during this unprecedented time”, said Milwaukee County Parks Executive Director Guy Smith. “We are eager to be a part of the show’s return in the future.”
