MILWAUKEE — With COVID-19 cases rising in Wisconsin, the Miller Park testing site has added Saturday hours so more Wisconsinites can get tested.
The testing site will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, in addition to the regular 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The extended hours will be staffed by workers from the Milwaukee Health Department, Milwaukee County, and temporary employees, the city of Milwaukee Health Department said in a press release Tuesday.
“Testing is an important part of the comprehensive efforts to address the COVID-19 pandemic. As cases have increased, demand for testing has climbed, too,” Acting Commissioner Marlaina Jackson said. “The partnership behind this testing work is admirable, and I appreciate all the efforts that have gone into community testing.”
The Miller Park testing site has consistently exceeded its capacity of 2,000 tests a day, so the city of Milwaukee Health Department wants to remind people that there are other testing site alternatives including healthcare providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and pharmacies.
