MENOMONEE FALLS — The Menomonee Falls School District has decided to postpone summer contact days at Menomonee Falls High School after the recent spike in COVID-19 cases.

The school district made the announcement Sunday on their Facebook page.

The news comes as COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin continue to rise and schools deliberate on how to handle the coming school year.

In their post, the district wrote, "Although this was a difficult decision, we feel it is in the best interest of our athletes, coaches and families."

They then listed all of the sports affected. Those sports are as follows:

  • Basketball
  • Cheer
  • Cross Country
  • Dance
  • Football
  • Soccer
  • Softball
  • Volleyball

It is unclear at this time when the sports will startup, if ever. You can read the full post from the district below.
