Harley-Davidson museum closes temporarily due to COVID-19

The Harley-Davidson Museum announced that beginning Friday, Nov. 20 that it will be closed to the public until at least Jan. 3, 2021.

The museum's Holiday Weekend Sale, originally scheduled for Nov. 27-29, will be postponed to a later date.

Harley-Davidson Museum MOTOR® Bar & Restaurant will also close beginning Nov. 20, including carry-out and delivery operations.

This follows after the Milwaukee Art Museum and Discovery World also announced their closing to the public.

The decision was made after assessing the City of Milwaukee Order 4.2 and the ongoing COVID-19 spread within the state.

Officials say a future reopening date will be announced once it is safe to do so.
