This decision derived from safety concerns and financial losses many businesses and sponsors have faced due to the coronavirus.
According to a post from the committee, they are looking for other ways to celebrate our nation's independence. If they come up with a plan, they will send out more information at a later date.
The committee ended the post with this, "Glendale's 4th of July committee is grateful to call Glendale our home and looks forward to the day when we can come together as a community to celebrate."
