Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin are offering free COVID-19 screenings to local law enforcement and first responders.

Police, fire and EMS workers with the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County and City of Wauwatosa can receive screening and testing services free of charge. Froedtert tells us these organizations have been notified on how to go about getting the tests.

"We are deeply grateful for the tireless work of frontline law enforcement, fire, first responders and other municipal EMS personnel, especially as we combat this threat," said Froedtert in a statement.

There are currently over 3,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin.
