WISCONSIN — Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver and spokesperson Donald Driver reached out to Goodwill laundry employees recently and thanked them for their services.

Goodwill laundry services receive dirty linen from local hospitals daily. These linens were used by people with coronavirus, the flu, and many other nasty viruses. Once received, Goodwill employees clean the linens and return them to local hospitals so they can be used again.

While you may not think of these employees as front line workers, Goodwill assures you they are. Because of all they do, Donald Driver reached out to the employees in a short video so he could thank them.

In the video Driver said, "I know you are leaving your families and your homes to help others. I have always been proud of the work you all do, but I'm even more proud today than ever."

He continued on to say, "You are all on the front lines of this fight against coronaviurus, supporting our country and the fight against this thing. You guys are the true heroes."

According to one Goodwill employee, Goodwill laundry services brings in millions of pounds of linen each year, all from local hospitals and medical facilities.
