MILWAUKEE — After months of closures, Discovery World is finally reopening.

Discovery World announced on Thursday that it was reopening to the public on July 22, with tickets going on sale July 13.

The museum will open with new safety protocols and procedures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Among the changes, you can expect the requirement of face coverings/masks for anyone three-years-old and older, timed ticketing to minimize the number of guests in the building, social distancing measures in place, and certain areas and exhibits not being open yet.

“We have been following the guidance of our local public health officials and the Centers for Disease Control, learning from many peer institutions that have opened, and listening to feedback from staff and the community,” said Discovery World President and CEO Bryan Wunar in a press release. “Everyone on our team has a role to play in bringing Discovery World’s mission to life, and we look forward to getting back to the core work of Discovery World.”

Tickets and advanced parking can be purchased starting July 13. Special access will be given to members on July 18 to July 19. To purchase tickets, click here.
