The China Lights Wisconsin Festival announced it was postponed until fall 2021.

The event was supposed to run from Sept. 18 through Nov. 1.

“While we are saddened and wish we could have brought China Lights back in 2020, we made the decision to postpone the festival to 2021 to keep our visitors, staff and community safe,” said Huiyuan Liu, Event Manager of China Lights and Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc. “Our team is busy behind the scenes, working on a new theme, site-plan and lantern designs. When we return in 2021, we hope people will be amazed at what we have to offer.”

The festival, produced by Tianyu Arts & Culture Inc. and held at Boerner Botanical Gardens, featured more than 40 handmade displays during last year's event.
