CEDARBURG — As coronavirus continues to take away county fairs and festivals, some still remain. That includes Cedarburg's Country in the Burg.

The event is still a go for Saturday, Aug. 29, however a final decision will be made on July 29.

The festival shared a post on Facebook Wednesday announcing that their event is going to happen. They stated that they have been in contact with city and county officials and together they came to this decision.

Since posting the update Wednesday morning, fans of the festival have been commenting on the post sharing their excitement.

Country singer Billy Currington is set to headline the festival with Easton Corbin and Frankie Ballard. To purchase tickets for the event or to learn more, click here.
