WISCONSIN — The Wednesday Badgers basketball game against the Louisville Cardinals has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Cardinal's program.

The Badgers shared the news on their website Monday afternoon.

The game could be rescheduled later this season, but the Badgers said they are still trying to make re-arrangements. However, the Badgers will still play Wednesday but will host Rhode Island for a home contest at the Kohl Center.

The game is scheduled to tip-off at 3:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

Louisville had paused team activities last week after someone tested positive for COVID-19. The Cardinals then canceled their game against UNC Greensboro on Friday.
