The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department has revealed the results of recent coronavirus testing at the Kenosha County Jail and Detention Center.

Earlier this week, the National Guard said that members were going to assist with testing at the Kenosha County Detention Center and Pretrial facility.

The sheriff's department said that 250 employees and 420 inmates were tested for COVID-19. The testing found that 5 employees and 79 inmates have tested positive for COVID-19.

Inmates who have tested positive have been placed in isolation dorms and employees have been quarantined.

As of April 29, there have been 363 positive cases of coronavirus in Kenosha County.
