LAKE GENEVA -- Lake Geneva cracked Travel Channel's recently released top 10 getaways for this upcoming Labor Day weekend.
In a photo gallery on their website, Travel Channel ranked Lake Geneva at the number nine slot right after Seattle and right before Cancun.
Lake Geneva was selected due to the "beautiful public beaches, championship golf courses, horseback riding trails and dramatic multi-million dollar Gilded Age mansions that line the lake."
The article also encourages those who choose to travel to Lake Geneva to make sure to join a U.S. Mailboat Tour and watch the famed 'mail jumpers' deliver the mail.
The Walworth County Fair is also mentioned as it will be taking place during Labor Day weekend. Travel Channel also mentioned the fireworks at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa.
The Bahamas topped the list at the number one spot.
