Country star Frankie Ballard is back at Summerfest after he was at the festival in 2016 to open for Luke Bryan.
This year he headlined the U.S. Cellular stage.
"There's a lot of festivals now and when I was a kid the only festival I knew about in existence at all was Summerfest. So this is like the big daddy of all of them ," Ballard said.

The singer-songwriter had time for some sight seeing while in town.
"We went to see the Harley-Davidson Museum today and that was a real cool experience so I'm repping," Ballard said.
The weather didn't put a damper on the concert.
"It's no big deal for us. We rock in the rain or the shine," Ballard said.
