Iconic rapper-singer Lauryn Hill is set to take the stage at Milwaukee's Riverside Theater Saturday night, but some ticket holders are worried because of the entertainer's notorious chronic lateness.

At a Jan. 31 performance in Pittsburgh, Hill was set to start at 8 p.m., but didn’t perform until after 11. By the time she got on stage, many had already left the venue and demanded refunds.

And it's not the first time. Hill has developed a reputation for lateness, leaving some of her Milwaukee fans leery about purchasing tickets.

“I have faith she’ll show up, but I’m 99 percent sure she’ll at least be an hour late,” Milwaukee ticket- holder Raeven Chappelle said.

Chappelle, an admitted huge Lauryn Hill fan, received tickets to the show for her 21st birthday. While she’s worried Hill will not be on time, she plans on hanging around the entire night.

“My dad got me listening to her when I was like 5. I never thought I’d get the chance to see her live, so I’m willing to wait all night,” Chappelle said.

Pabst Theater Group PR Director Andy Nelson says they're in constant communication with ticketholders, and has advised them that the show will start at 8 p.m. as advertised.

"We feel really good about Saturday,” Nelson said.

So is Hill just really bad at time management?

According to the star’s Twitter account, she left her Pittsburgh fans waiting due to band members delayed by the weather.

Hill blamed a 2-hour wait in Atlanta last May on the "challenge of aligning her energy with her time."

Plenty of Twitter users wonder why her fans continue to set themselves up for potential disappointment.

Hill's fans are used to waiting. She hasn't released another album since her 1998 Grammy-winning solo debut album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

The former Fugees singer/rapper headlined Summerfest’s Marcus Amphitheater in 1999 and 2002, but she hasn’t played in Milwaukee since.
