MILWAUKEE — A 16-year-old girl is dead after drowning in Lake Michigan on Monday, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
Earlier Monday, the Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) told TMJ4 News a person was transported to a local hospital after being pulled from the water near McKinley Marina on Monday.
MFD responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m. Arriving crews found the teen floating in the water and removed her.
She was then transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.
The current water temperature is 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
