WEST ALLIS -- A one-of-a-kind clinic blazing a new trail to fight opioid addictions opened this week in West Allis.

Community Medical Services opened its doors on Wednesday at the corner of S. 108th St. and W. National Ave.

The clinic offers services to patients 24/7. This is the first 24/7 clinic of its kind to open in Wisconsin and the third in the United States.

The clinic says if a person has a "moment of hope" -- meaning they decide they want help right now -- they can walk into the clinic and get an intake.
