Winter Storm Warning for all of SE Wisconsin starting at 9pm Sunday

***WINTER STORM WARNING FROM 9PM SUNDAY TO 6PM MONDAY for all of SE Wisconsin***

Bitter cold has settled in and wind chills will again drop close to the dangerous range at 15 to 25 below zero, prompting a Wind Chill Advisory for all of southeastern Wisconsin. Frostbite is possible within 30 minutes if you are outdoors during the advisory time with actual air temperatures in the subzero range to kick off Sunday. We will start with sunshine on Sunday but the clouds will be rolling in by the afternoon hours. By 7pm snow will spread into western Wisconsin, making it to Milwaukee before 10pm.

A Winter Storm Warning goes into effect for all of southeastern Wisconsin from 9pm Sunday through 6pm Monday for 7-12" of fluffy snow that will be blowing around with increasing wind. The heaviest snow falls between 10pm Sunday night and 5am Monday morning where we could see roughly an inch of snow every hour during that time period. Just scattered snow showers are likely throughout the daytime hours but blowing snow will be an issue for visibility as well. High temperature on Monday will be 28 degrees, feeling colder with the wind.
