The heavy snow from this afternoon is starting to diminish and will be out of the area before 8pm. Most of us will be shoveling 2-5" of snow with the lighter amounts south and heavier amounts to the north. The rest of the night will have flurries, and very strong NW winds behind the cold front. Winds will gust over 40 mph tonight with wind chills dropping below zero by 10pm and will be -10 to -15 by morning. Blowing snow is also a concern overnight and into Friday so we are all under a Winter Weather Advisory until noon on Friday. Morning lows are in the single digits and highs will struggle to get above 10 with wind chills below 0 all day.
Saturday is breezy and cold with morning lows below zero and wind chills to -20. Highs temps are in the single digits with wind chills to -10. There is a chance for evening and overnight flurries and light snow. Sunday is the coldest with morning lows of -7 along the lake to -14 inland. Wind chills will be near -30 as another cold front kicks up the wind to 25 mph. High temps will barely be above zero with wind chills of -20 all day. Monday is also cold and could see a few inches of snow.
