Today was the calm before the storm with sunshine, a light breeze and a high of 38.

All of SE Wisconsin is under a Winter Storm Warning until 6am Sunday, and the first wave of a light wintry mix has moved into parts of the area. With temps bear freezing, we could initially see rain and some freezing rain before changing to snow late tonight.

MORE COVERAGE:

We will see about 1” of snow by Saturday morning. The wind also increases this evening to 30 mph and will be gusting to 40 mph by morning.

Light snow showers are possible during the day on Saturday with an additional 1-2” of snow and a NE wind at 25-45 mph.

This snow looks to be drier now, so the concern for blowing and drifting is a concern. The heaviest snow is Saturday from 4pm until midnight.

We could see another 3-5” of snow during that time with NE winds up to 50 mph. Travel is not recommended tomorrow evening. Most of the area will get 6-10” of snow.

The system moves out before Sunday morning and we will have some sun with a light breeze.

Highs temps will be in the mid 20s, and stay in the low 20s at Lambeau during the game. There is now a chance for flurries and very light snow during the game. Any accumulation would be less than 1".

Monday morning starts off with light snow, then clouds and a high near freezing. Tuesday has a morning rain/snow mix, then it becomes all rain in the afternoon.
