Our Sunday will start out cloudy and cold. By the afternoon, an area of low pressure moving across the Plains will begin to impact the area with some wet snow. Highs on Sunday will climb into the mid to upper 30s but after sunset temperatures will drop into the upper 20s, allowing for some accumulating snow; most locations can expect 1-2“.

We will start off the last week of the year mostly sunny and cold with highs in the upper 20s. Most of Tuesday will be dry and mostly cloudy with highs near 32°. Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, snow will change over to rain. Highs for Wednesday afternoon will range from the low to mid 40s. As this last round of precipitation exits the area, we could see a brief wintry mix Wednesday evening. Right now, Thursday is looking quiet and cool with highs in the 30s.
