Showers ending Tuesday night, wind continues

and last updated 2019-10-22 16:30:51-04

Wicked winds continue today as the center of low pressure moves over Lake Superior, this will keep us windy tonight with WSW winds at 10-20mph, gusting over 35mph at times. The clouds will start to part a bit overnight with temperatures falling into the upper 30s near Lake Michigan and mid-30s inland.

Wednesday starts out cold but dry with partly cloudy skies and a breezy wind will persist from the west at 10-15mph but gusts will drop to 25mph. There is a chance for some afternoon light rain showers with generally less than a tenth of an inch expected.

Colder air moves in for Thursday with sunny skies not able to help warm us up even into the 50s, we'll be stuck in the upper 40s through the afternoon but at least the wind won't be biting any longer. High pressure keeps us dry and sunny with light winds for Friday but again, Milwaukee will not climb out of the 40s. Saturday is a touch warmer with low 50s and mostly sunny skies which should be good for trick-or-treaters and Sunday looks dry for the morning before a chance for afternoon showers. Next week is looking cooler than normal with highs in the 40s and low in the 30s all week.
