and last updated 2020-01-09 23:58:31-05

A Winter Storm Watch will be in effect beginning Friday at 9:00 p.m. through Sunday at 6:00 a.m. for Kenosha, Racine, Milwaukee, Walworth, and Waukesha Counties.

A Winter Storm Watch will be in effect beginning Saturday at noon through Sunday at 6:00 a.m. for Washington, Ozaukee, Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Dodge, and Jefferson Counties.

It has been a dreary day with light rain around the noon show, gusty southerly winds over 30 mph and temps in the 40s. At pm, Milwaukee is 49…30 degrees warmer than this time on Wednesday. There is still a chance for sprinkles and very light rain this evening along a cold front. No worries, this is not an arctic front. Morning lows will be around 32 and Friday’s high is 38. All of SE Wisconsin is under a Winter Storm watch from 9pm Friday until 6am Sunday. Friday is cloudy, but the weather is quiet for all your errands. A light wintry mix moves in by late afternoon and evening. We will see about 1” of snow by Saturday morning.

Snow showers are possible during the day on Saturday with an additional 1-3” of snow and a NE wind at 25-45 mph. The heaviest snow is Saturday from 5pm until midnight. We could see another 4-7” of snow during that time with NE winds up to 50 mph. Most of the area will get 6-10” of snow, but because of that wind off the lake, there will be higher totals along the lake. The system moves out before Sunday morning and we will have some sun with a light breeze. Highs temps will be in the mid 20s, and stay in the low 20s at Lambeau during the game.
