Comfortable Friday before hot, humid weekend

and last updated

We woke up to temps in the 50s and 60s, and today was a nice break from the July heat and humidity with some clouds, a NE breeze to 15 mph and highs in the low to mid 70s.

It will be another gorgeous evening with temps in the upper 60s by 9 p.m. and keep those windows open again with lows in the 50s and 60s.

There will be some patchy fog late tonight into early Friday morning. Friday is a great summer day with sunshine, some humidity, and highs near 80.

The heat and humidity are here for the weekend with a high of 90 on Saturday with lots of sun, humidity and a heat index of 98.

Sunday is even worse with a high of 91 and the dew point in the mid 70s. That will make a heat index of 99 to 104. The chance for t'storms is late afternoon and evening along a cold front, and then the showers will linger into the night and Monday morning.

Behind the front, Monday afternoon is sunny, breezy, cooler and less humid with a high of 84. Tuesday is sunny and beautiful with temps near 80.
