Milwaukee was 11 this morning, and inland areas were in the single digits with wind chills of 0 to -10. It was a sunny but cold with highs only in the teens and wind chills in the single digits. Clouds increased late this afternoon ahead of the warm front, and temps rise this evening and overnight.

Temps by 7 a.m. will be at 32 with a SE wind at 15-25 mph and scattered light wintry mix. That mix will include some freezing drizzle that will make side streets a little slick. Temps will warm up quickly into the mid 40s with rain showers and gusty winds to 30 mph all afternoon. It will be warm, but it will not be a nice day.

Friday morning has a slight chance for lingering light rain/snow with highs in the upper 30s. Snow is expected by Friday evening, and it looks to be snowy Friday night and Saturday. We will have shovel by Saturday evening, and it will be windy as well with gusts to 40 mph. Saturday is our first true taste of winter since Halloween. Sunday is much nicer with some sun, a light breeze and highs near freezing.
