Wind chills will be near 0 overnight

and last updated 2020-01-20 23:36:38-05

We picked up 4-7” of snow Friday night and Saturday morning, then the weekend was quiet and cold. Sunday morning had wind chills to -20 and they stayed below zero all day. This morning was in the single digits and teens, and we enjoyed the sun all day with highs in the mid to upper 20s…normal. The clear sky, snowy surface and light wind means the temperature drops quickly this evening. Most areas will be in the single digits by midnight. Then a light SW wind picks up and temps slowly rise into the teens by sunrise. Wind chills will be near 0. Tuesday is sunny and seasonal with highs in the upper 20s, but the SW wind increases to 10-15 mph creating a wind chill.

Wednesday starts off sunny, but clouds increase, and so does the SW wind to 25 mph. Highs will be in the upper 30s. There is a chance for light snow by evening and overnight with a dusting to half inch of accumulation. We stay cloudy and mild for Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 30s. There is also a chance for alight rain/snow mix each day with little to no snow accumulation. The roads will just stay wet. Watch out for fog during these warmer days as well.
