and last updated 2020-04-12 18:55:52-04

Rain showers will return this evening to SE Wisconsin and we might even hear some rumbles of thunder...no severe weather is expected. With temps in the 40s, we mostly see rain, but at the north wind increases to 45 mph tonight, cold air starts to move in. We will drop to near freezing by morning with a chance for a light wintry mix. By then most of the storms precipitation has moved out of the area. Areas north of Milwaukee will see less than 1" of snow. We all get at least a half inch of rain tonight.

We dodged the snow, but not the wind and the cold. All of SE Wisconsin is under a Wind Advisory from 4am tonight until 7pm Monday evening...We will see gusts all day up to 50 mph. On top of that, high temps stay in the 30s. It will be a cold day! Tuesday is cold with lows in the 20s, highs near 40 and some flurries. We slowly warm up this week and get back to the 50s by Friday and the weekend.
