Tuesday is sunny with highs near 70

and last updated

Last week was a preview of true fall weather, and even this morning was frosty in many places with lows in the low to mid 30s. But the sunshine and a strong SW wind at 30 mph have helped warm us up to near 60 today... and this is the cool day of the week.

Monday evening is clear and breezy with a SW wind at 10-20 mph. That breeze keeps us much warmer with morning lows in the mid 40s inland to 50 in Milwaukee. Tuesday is less windy with gusts to 20 mph from the SW, and it is sunny with highs near 70.

Wednesday is sunny and 67 behind a weak cold front shifting the wind to the NW at 20 mph. This is obviously not last week's cold front. Thursday is in the lower 60s and sunny with a NE wind off of chilly Lake Michigan. The wind shifts back to the SW on Friday and will gust to 30 mph with highs in the lower 70s.

Saturday is also near 70 before the next cold front cools us into the mid 60s on Sunday. There is no rain expected this week.
