Extremely cold temperatures stick around Sunday

A very cold night is ahead for SE Wisconsin, lows overnight will range from -5° near the lake to -10° inland. Gusty winds will drive wind chills to -25 to -35°. Be very careful if you must head out, cover exposed skin, and limit the amount of time you are outdoors. Skies will be partly cloudy overnight.

Sunday highs will only be in the single digits, and it will feel like -10 to -20° throughout the day. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. Sunday night into Monday morning will again be extremely cold with overnight lows below zero, and wind chills near -30°.

Monday will bring the chance for a few light snow showers and highs in the single digits. Tuesday morning expect a few lake-effect snow showers and highs in the teens. Temperatures trend a little warmer mid to late week with highs back in the 20s.
