Becoming partly cloudy and cool Friday night

Brian Gotter's evening Storm Team 4cast for Sept. 6, 2019
and last updated

The clouds are clearing out for this evening, and the wind will diminish to 10-15 mph as temps drop to near 60 by 9 p.m. A strong northwest wind to 25 mph will drop the humidity in the afternoon and temps fall into the 60s by 5 p.m. Saturday morning is partly cloudy and cool with lows in the 50s, and the afternoon partly cloudy and beautiful with highs in the low to mid 70s and dry air.

A weak storm system will bring clouds Sunday with highs in the 60s and scattered showers. Monday is still in the lower 70s with a few showers late afternoon, but summer returns Tuesday with steamy humidity, a gusty southwest wind and highs in the lower 80s. Thunderstorms are likely Tuesday and scattered for Wednesday.
