Rain pauses briefly Tuesday before returning in the evening

More showers and thunderstorms are on the way for this Monday night. Most of the severe thunderstorms will stay south of th area, but we could see a strong storm or two. After the cold front moves through later tonight, winds will shift from out of the west to the north, giving us a cooler night with lows in the 60s. On Tuesday, a second cold front will move through SE Wisconsin bringing some scattered showers in the afternoon; expect highs in the 70s.

Some pop-up showers and storms will be possible in the afternoon on Wednesday otherwise expect partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Thursday and Friday will be partly cloudy and warmer with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s but chances for showers and thunderstorms will return by Friday night.
