Frosty night, rainy Saturday evening, nice Sunday

and last updated 2019-10-25 23:37:08-04

We woke up in the 20s and 30s this morning and heavy frost, and despite a lot of sun today, we struggled to get out of the 40s. As a result, this evening will be chilly for high school football as temps drop into the 30s by 9pm. At least the wind will be light. It is another frosty morning on Saturday with lows in the 20s inland to 32 in Milwaukee. We star toff sunny, but clouds increase during the day and we will have light rain develop after 5pm. High temps will get into the lower 50s before the rain, and the wind also increases by evening to 15-25 mph. The rain intensity also increases later in the evening and overnight. We could see at least a half inch of rain. By the way, this rain is from newly formed tropical storm Olga in the Gulf.

The rain moves out before Sunday morning, so Sunday is sunny and mild with highs in the mid 50s. It will be much better for trick or treating. Behind a cold front, Monday is cloudy and cooler with a high in the upper 40s. Rain moves in by evening, and rain is likely Monday night into Tuesday morning. There is a good chance to see snowflakes mixed in with the rain as well. Tuesday afternoon is then sunny and cold with a high of 42. Wednesday through Friday is sunny and cold with highs near 40 and lows in the 20s.
