Flurries ending, but windy and chilly rainy weekend

and last updated

We were 79 with storms and large hail on Tuesday, 64 Wednesday with rain, and snow and flurries today with winds gusting to 40 mph. Oh April. Once the sunsets, the snow will stop and the clouds will clear out and it will be a cold night with lows near 30 and a gusty wind. Wind chills in the morning will be near 20. Friday is sunny, breezy and cool with highs in the upper 40s and a NW breeze at 10-20 mph. The wind will be cool, but the sun will feel great!

Clouds increase on Saturday with afternoon rain showers developing with a high of 52. With lows near 40 Sunday morning, we have taken the chance for flurries out, but rain is likely all day on Sunday with highs staying in the mid 40s. It will be a dreary and wet day. As this storm moves east, strong NW winds move in Sunday night with gusts to 40 mph. We have a very good chance of snow showers with lows near freezing, and this will continue Monday morning...stay tuned for updates on this storm. As temps stay in the upper 30s Monday afternoon, we could see a rain/snow mix all day along with winds gusting to 40 mph.
