Dry and breezy Sunday, light snow arrives overnight

and last updated

Sunday will be a partly to mostly cloudy day and we will stay dry. Highs will top out in the upper 30s, but it will feel cooler with winds gusting between 20 and 30 mph. Overnight scattered snow showers move in, which could make for a few slick spots during the Monday morning commute. A mix of snow and rain will continue into Monday afternoon as temperatures warm to around 40-degrees. Some light snow accumulations are possible. It will be a windy start to the week with gusts up to 40 mph possible.

Tuesday is the nicest day of the week with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s with some sunshine. Wednesday is mild with highs in the mid 40s, but it will be windy. By mid to late day rain showers move in, which may change over to snow or a rain-snow mix overnight. There is a chance for some light snow Thursday, but the models are not in good agreement regarding snow accumulations, so keep checking back on our potential for pre-Christmas snow.
