Friday highs in the upper 70s, wind gusts to 25 mph

It has been a very windy day with westerly winds gusting to 40 mph ahead of a cold front.

That front moves through before 5 p.m. and then the wind shifts to the NW and temps start to drop. Milwaukee got into the lower 80s and will be in the upper 60s by 9 p.m. Tonight is clear, breezy, and chilly with lows in the lower 50s in Milwaukee to upper 40s inland. Friday is beautiful with low humidity, lots of sun and highs in the upper 70s. It stays windy with a NW wind gusting to 25 mph.

Saturday is also beautiful with highs in the upper 70s, sunshine and a light breeze.

Showers and t'storms roll in Sunday morning and will be with us all day. It will be warm and damp with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Monday is now warmer with highs in the mid-70s, but unfortunately, it is rainy as well. In fact, it is a rainy week with Tuesday and Wednesday being soakers with highs only in the 60s...fall.
