A little warmer Friday after cold, frosty evening

and last updated

Another cloudy day with a few flurries and highs near freezing today...at least the wind is light. The wind stays light this evening and clouds will clear out overnight.

It will be a cold and frosty night with lows in the low 20s in Milwaukee and teens inland. Friday morning is cold but the sun will make an appearance. Enjoy that sunshine because clouds roll in throughout the day and winds increase out of the south at 15-25 mph. High temps will get into the upper 30s..maybe 40.

Those clouds are from the next storm system that brings a light wintry mix late Friday night and Saturday. This will mainly be light rain and drizzle with some sleet and maybe a dusting of snow by Saturday evening.

We get some sun on Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 30s, and Monday has a slight chance for a light mix with a warm front. We get some sun as well and gusty southerly winds warm us up to 43. Tuesday is 40 and Wednesday could see snow.
