Evening snow showers end then a slow warm up

It is a cold and windy spring day with temps in the 30s and wind chills in the 20s thanks to a brisk NW wind at 20 mph.

To make it worse, we are experiencing scattered light snow showers across the area.

No accumulation is expected, and they will be gone by sunset. Tonight is partly cloudy and cold with lows in the 20s and wind chills in the teens. Wednesday remains partly cloudy and chilly with highs near 40. The wind will be lighter and there is only a slight chance for a flurry.

The warming trend begins on Thursday with sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 40s.

Friday has sunshine, a light breeze and highs near 50. While a SW wind increases to 20 mph on Saturday, it is the best day of the week with sun and highs in the mid to upper 50s. A weak cold front arrives on Sunday with a NW breeze, highs in the lower 50s and a very slight chance for light rain. Overall, the weekend looks great!
