Today's Storm Team 4cast

and last updated 2019-08-04 23:45:10-04

Tonight we continue the quiet pattern with mainly clear skies tonight and mild lows in the mid-60s. Monday will start calm with sunshine and temperatures and dew points will be climbing, making it a hot and sticky day with highs in the upper 80s, feeling close to 90 and that's in the shade!

A cold front approaches in the afternoon to increase the cloud cover and bring a chance for showers and storms mainly between 5pm and 3am with the heaviest rain and strongest storms expected between 7pm and 10pm. Some storms may be strong to severe, especially west of Waukesha where hail and damaging wind may be a threat.

Tuesday is cooler with seasonal highs in the low 80s with less moisture in the air. Wednesday will be a bit muggy before another cold front swings through late in the evening hours, bringing showers and storms that will linger into early Thursday morning before skies clear out again. Temperatures will still be near 80 degrees on Thursday but the stickiness will start to slip away leading to a comfortable Friday and Saturday with sunshine and highs in the upper 70s.
