Warm and humid Tuesday expected

and last updated

This may be one of the nicest Memorial Day weekends in a long time. Despite evening t'showers on Saturday evening, the rain has avoided SE Wisconsin. In addition, the unofficial start to summer feels like summer with a high of 79 Sunday and 83 on Monday...the warmest temps of the year so far. In addition to the warmth, it is humid, and it will stay warm and humid through Thursday when a cold front arrives. This evening is dry, but there is an isolated chance for a shower overnight tonight with a humid lows of 63. Tuesday is mostly sunny, warm and humid with highs near 80 in Milwaukee to 87 inland. Scattered t'storms will develop in the afternoon...severe weather is not expected.

Wednesday is also near 80 and humid with afternoon t'storms developing. Showers are likely on Thursday with a few t'storms with highs in the mid 70s. A cold front moves through Thursday evening cooling us down into the upper 60s on Friday and much drier air and a lot of sun. The low humidity allows lows to drop into the upper 40s to lower 50s over the weekend, and highs in the 60s near the lake to mid to upper 70s inland. The weekend will be sunny and comfortable.
