The great "summer" weather from the holiday weekend has spilled into Tuesday with sunshine, humidity, and highs near 80.

The threat for showers and t'storms has stayed well inland and will continue into the evening.

Otherwise the rest of us enjoy another nice evening with temps falling into the 70s.

Overnight lows drop to the mid 60s with humidity and just a spotty shower in the morning...mainly inland. Wednesday is mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs near 80 once again with humidity and scattered afternoon t'storms developing.

Inland areas have the greatest chance for rain, and no severe weather is expected.

The best chance for rain is on Thursday ahead of a cold front.

No severe storms are expected, but showers are likely with a few thundershowers. By Thursday evening we could get 0.5" to 1" of rain. The cold front cools us down into the 60s on Friday with sunshine and much lower humidity.

Saturday and Sunday are sunny but cool with highs in the upper 50s near the lake to near 70 inland thanks to a light NE breeze.
