Flurries possible Tuesday night, then cold and breezy

and last updated

A cold front will swing through this evening and it may touch off a few flurries before 11pm tonight. While we may not all see snowflakes, we will all feel the cold that comes behind the front on a breezy northwest wind at 10-15mph. Temperatures fall to 10 degrees near Lake Michigan and single digits inland but it will feel like sub-zero single digits to kick off Wednesday morning as the clouds will be clearing.

Wednesday will look decent as we continue to see sunshine but it will be the coldest day of the next two weeks with a high of 18 degrees in Milwaukee, feeling like the single digits with a lighter wind from the northwest. The wind swings to being from the south on Thursday to boost our temps back into the low 30s with mostly sunny skies. More clouds roll in on Friday with highs close to 40 degrees across southeastern Wisconsin.

The weekend is looking pretty quiet as well with highs in the low 40s and partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. 40s continue next week as well with the next chance for accumulating precipitation falling on Dec. 26th.
