The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a report of shots fired on I-43 at North Avenue.
The sheriff's office tweeted earlier Tuesday there was a full freeway closure on northbound I-43.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation shared an update just after 2:30 p.m. that all lanes have since reopened.
No other details were released.
