At SU Group in Oak Creek, office spaces are transformed in winter wonderlands and scene from Christmas movies.

The employees are competing for a department lunch and an extra day of PTO. Employees spent hours on the weekends transforming their cubicles into the Polar Express, a ski lodge, gingerbread house, Whoville and Santa's workshop.

"I thought it would be something really small and it blew up into something ginormous," said business manager Elaine Wilson.

Over at Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission departments are competing for bragging rights and a trophy. The halls are decorated with adoptable dog ornaments, gingerbread houses with real candy and a cozy lodge.

"It was a lot of fun and a nice way to break up the hustle and bustle. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would and everyone did a wonderful job. It's just exciting," said Ann Pilarski, vet tech.

The public is asked to vote for their favorite decorated department by going to MADACC's Facebook page.
