MADISON -- After defeating two more undefeated teams, N.C. State at home and number 14 Iowa on the road, the Wisconsin Badgers suddenly find themselves at number 12 in the latest AP Poll.

The Badgers sit at 7-1, with their only loss coming to the fourth ranked Virginia Cavaliers. Wisconsin has four wins against power 5 conference teams this season, including two major road wins at Xavier and Iowa.

Two major road wins at this point in the season is a very good sign for Greg Gard's squad.

The key to Wisconsin's success has been senior Ethan Happ. Happ is averaging 17.4 points-per game, 11.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists. This was also the first week in which Happ was not named Big Ten Player of the Week.

The Badgers will host another Big Ten opponent, Rutgers, at the Kohl Center Monday night, before getting another big road test against the Marquette Golden Eagles on Saturday.

Marquette has yet to lose at Fiserv Forum.
